About Archlord Gold

Archlord is a 3D MMORPG developed by NHN Corporation and Codemasters Online Gaming. It was released in 2005 but had a poor reception. Its first expansion in 2007 also marked the game's transition to being free to play. It is set in Chantra and allow players to choose from four races: Orcs, Humans, Moon Elves and Dragon Scion. Each race can be segregated further into three classes each. This fantasy MMORPG world where the players compete to become the supreme ruler of the game, also called as the Archlord. One server can have only one Archlord who is allowed a 4 week-reign before other players can challenge him/her for the throne.

The game's crafting system allows players to ransack, carve and skin defeated monsters. It also has a unique way to upgrade items. The items received can then be used in cooking or alchemy to create improved items. Alchemy creates potions that helps a player tranform into a monster. While cooking provides bonuses such as defense buffs.

The currency in this game is the Archlord gold which players have to defeat monsters, completing quests, loot for items and sell to others. Archlord gold can be used to purchase items, gears, skills, repair and upgrade your weapons. Either use gold to trade with NPCs or visit the auction houses and buy items that other users put up for sales or players can buy extra credits with real money that can be used to redeem items, skills and other benefits. Gold farmers are another source of Archlord gold that players can look for although it is against NHN's terms and conditions.
