Team-VIP was one of the early players in the RMT business. It started off trading Diablo 2 items in eBay then later established its own website in 2002. Then it became one of the biggest online game service providers until the company was under scrutiny for fraud and eventually went out of business. Later
bought by IGE, the company was able to return to operation. Under the new ownership the website`s registration data is now discretely hidden, although existing information from Alexa stated the website was originally
registered in NY, USA.
According to Alexa`s web traffic measurement, the company currently ranks at
169,581 while its parent company
IGE sits at
31,851. Following the same downward trend along with IGE, less customers are coming to the website.
The company has a solid track record of customer service history. Recognized as eBay Titanium powerseller, the company had served
almost 4,000 customers with 97% of them satisfied since 2001. With the recent banning of Blizzard and other game publishers, golds are harder to come by and customers have complained more on missing gold. The
recent Bizrate rating is stumbling down to mediocrity.
