GamePal - In depth

Gamepal is a virtual currency and online game service provider found in June 2004. Even though Eric Smith the founder was at that time only nineteen years old, he already had plenty of experience in RMT business working and reselling for MySuperSales, IGE and even had his own company at fifteen years of age. The company has been inactive for a while in the late 2006, people were wondering if the company was closed or something. Today it is back in business.

Gamepal started up in Michigan and later joined by Adrian Jeff Robey who became Vice President in October 2004. The company excelled rapidly and became one of the largest virtual currency sellers during 2005 and 2006. The company enjoyed the expansion and relocate its staff to Raleigh, NC. The number of staff substantially grew from 30 to 350 when the company found GamePal International Corporation in the Philippines to supply services back to its US-based operation.

An anonymous source tipped this document about former employees filed a case against the company. The burden of holding up this large scale operation proved too much for Eric. It did not last long before he had to fled the country in April 2007 without paying for much of the company's expenses such as payroll, rent and other bills. Apparently, the company was under losses forcing the shut down of operation, employee lay off and selling off its assets to settle for outstanding expenses.

A look at Alexa traffic information of the website over three years shows a huge decline in traffic during mid 2007 when Eric Smith took off and the company ceased operation as it went into a lot of trouble.

All kinds of stories about Gamepal spread around the internet, Wowgoldfinder questioned the company's existance. Customers complain about the company's business practice and the way Gamepal handled its customers. Often, you will find comments from ex-employees who tell on their bosses and co-workers. They say bosses are a bunch of greedy kids, owing tons of money to the suppliers and evilly rip off people on purpose, the manager is a bully, the person in charge of power leveling was corrupt.

The company has received a lot of criticism from customers, eight reports have been filed to Ripoffreport, Ed Shull wrote about his bad experience with Gamepal. Suppliers do not like them either. A gamer sold his character and still got charged monthly and Gamepal threatened the seller.

Now that Eric Smith is back in the US and working for the company again only with a smaller company, he has a tough job winning back the reputation and customers to get back where he was before.

I purchased an account from them last week, and an additional one today. Everything went smooth.

Not sure what people are complaining about. Yeah they were slow on the 1st delivery, but the 2nd one was fast.

Just wanted to share my story as I took a chance and it paid off.

Good website. Will buy from them again.

Well apparently they are getting better because I made 3 orders with them in the past 50 days and everything went okay with my orders.

Bought an account advertised as having a 140 level character. I did receive the logon info, but after paying subscription fees, etc to the gamesite I logged on and discovered that instead of a 140 character, it was a level 12! Certain it was a simple mistake, I emailed the gamepal admin and explained the situation.
After a few days I got a form letter back detailing payment options. I wrote again and got another form letter detailing selling accounts.
I'm now a wiser gamer, and doubt I'll buy anymore accounts.

I accepted an offer from these guys about SELLING my WoW account. It was about a $300 offer accepted, and i went through their step-by-step process, which included the AUTOMATED e-mails. Its now been almost a month and i've sent about a dozen e-mails. Should i try to sell my account to another company? or should i wait? I changed all my passwords and e-mails regarding my account, but they will still have the secret answer.

What should i do? any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW...I should have done more background check on these guys...

I bought two AOC accounts. The first one went through great. It has been over a week and still have not gotten the second one. I have not gotten and e-mail reply's in about 4 days. I have sent numerous e-mails and have gotten no response from them.
I have noticed that the live 24/7 is a lie because it is never open for account help or powerleveling.
gamepal has horribad customer service and will not do business with them again.
I would recommend you to go to another company, a way to tell if it is good is by checking to see if the live help is actually live and does not send an e-mail.

This company is a internet fraud company! Once you give them your information, your account is gone. I just went through the procedures with them and reported the to the FTC. The people saying good stuff about this company surely are employees of the company.

Hello,

First off the one reporting this has absolutely no clue what he is talking about. I am a former customer service rep for GamePal USA, and I pretty much know everything that has happened since I worked there for around 16 months.

Starting with this first paragraph, Adrian Robey is one of the founders as well for GamePal Inc. GamePal expanded in the Philippines in August 2006, and later suspended the operations due to moving the customer service back to the US for better support. They no longer have operations in the Asia, only Canada and the US. The company also has been fully active for more then 3 years, and never closed operations and reopened them because I was working for them when they were open.

Now since I worked with the person who made all those rip off reports, I know that a former employee is making random posts on the internet in order to jeopardize the reputation of the company under the name Bill who was a former deliver rep for GamePal USA.

I enjoyed working for the company but I decided to go back to college to continue my studies. I speak the truth only because it seems the internet is full of posting bad reports on the ONLY company on the internet who actually cares for their customers and protects their customers because they are American Citizens as well.

took a couple hundred bucks off of me over a month ago. Beware Pay-Pal won't help you out on this they say its an intangible goods and Gamewar will say they sent info to you so they will get judgement. Gamewar will then offer you a gift certificate for another item on their page. I tried 5 different accounts and they could not produce 1 of them. Better Business Bureau gives them a rating of F based on the number of customer complaints, wish I would have known this sooner. Buyers stay away from this site for sure.

They are now Game War - Ed Schull pointed that out. They aren't trying to hide it since they post at buysellmmo as gamewar and advertise gamepal. I didn't know the real story on this company until I came here. Excellent research!

I read through this thread and have not noticed anyone talking about their luck selling an account to Gamepal.com so I thought I'd add my two cents. I decided to sell my wow account cuz I was hurting for cash. Their site said they would pay for the account within 72 hours via paypal, so I went for it.

Their website says that after finishing filling in the account information this will happen:
After you have finished with this page, you will be sent an offer. The page with the offer, just fill out the information, and submit it, and you should receive your payment within a few hours. Please be patient during this process as some payments can take more then a few hours, but if you submitted your information, then we got it, and we will check your information as fast as we can.

They sent me an email:

This email is to confirm that we've received your account submission and are ready to offer you $880.19 for your account at this time. Your account submission ID is XXXXXXXX, please keep this number for your records. If you'd like to accept this offer, simply fill out the acceptation form received at the time of submission. If you have any questions, feel free to visit our Live Help.

Date submitted: 2009-10-14 02:26:25

I accepted the offer (yes, at 2:30 in the morning) and received another email:

Hi there <customer name>,

Thank you for accepting our offer and submitting your account information! We have successfully received your information! In the next 1 to 72 hours, an accounts purchasing representative will login, and verify your account. Upon verifying your account, you will receive payment within 10 minutes. If there's any problems with your submission, we will contact you via email. If you have any additional questions in the meantime, feel free to visit our Live Support, available 24/7.

After waiting the prescribed 72 hours without seeing any money show up on my paypal account I decided to try out their live support. It appeared that the live support wasn't actually live because after entering my email address it just sent me 3 automated replies only one of which had anything to do with what I wanted. I decided that perhaps it would be better to send them an email so I sent one inquiring:

This question concerns:
Account Submission ID: XXXXXXXX
Account name: <account name>@<email>.com
PayPal Email: <emailname>@<email>.com

My question is regarding the payment for the account. I accepted the offer presented by gamepal.com and submitted my account information. I have not, however, received payment for the account on my paypal account. I've checked the spellings for things that were submitted and everything appears to be in order. I was wondering if someone could contact me since it has been more than 72 hours. Thanks, <disgruntled customer>

My reply came almost immediately in the form of the same 3 automatically generated emails that had almost nothing to do with what I asked about. Basically they were redundant with the website's FAQ which I had perused prior to even sending the email. The one that was MOST relevant I have pasted below:

Greetings,

Thank you for contacting our support team! We have received your email response! Thank you. I will be glad to assist you with your order.
Current Orders
If You Already Have Submitted Your Account To Us, Please Read Below.
If you wish to view your order status on your account submission, please register to the website before you submit and track your submission status from your control panel.
Please remain patient on your so an agent can check your submission. Normally the process may take up to 72 hours, but on extreme cases, you may experience delay times up to a week. Don't worry, we will NEVER touch your account until an agent verifys the account, and issues a payment. If you are waiting for more than a week, this may mean that we did not receive your information, we are not interested in purchasing your character or there may have been a technical issue. Please note, we are actively purchasing characters, but we do occasionally deny specific accounts as we cannot sell them due to overstock.
General Information
Information On Selling, Trading, or Exchanging Your Account.
If you wish to trade or exchange your account with us, please go to our "Sell Account" option on our website, and submit a quote to receive a gift certificate quote which you can use to exchange for a new account.
Please select the appropriate game name on the left hand side bar and click the link that says "Sell Your Account". You will be presented with a page that asks you for general information about your account. This is an important step, filling in as much information as you can with accurate information will result in a better price and leaving things blank to move forward faster. After you have finished with this page, you will be sent an offer. The page with the offer, just fill out the information, and submit it, and you should receive your payment within a few hours. Please be patient during this process as some payments can take more then a few hours, but if you submitted your information, then we got it, and we will check your information as fast as we can.
Security In Selling To Us
If you need general information on how we sell and trade accounts, please read below.
Most companies require information up front before you receive the cash. The reason is because before when we paid the individual first, over 90% of them never delivered the account. We require the account information first before we send payment to verify the information. During this time, we will not change the password until we are ready to purchase, and pay for the account.
When deciding what to do when selling your account, you must decide the best way to sell it. You can either wait around, and 2 to 3 months later you sell it. A lot of sites offer guarantees on payments, but are completely bogus scams. Some companies actually login to your account, and farm with it, banning it, and then never pay for it. Others login with Chinese Ips, few hours later they get banned or a few days later and either don't pay you or try to reclaim the payment they sent you. You should never rent, list, or do consignment with any company as these are all fraud, and scams. These are known issues, and this is where we come in.
Our site is one of a kind. We are solely based in the United States, and adapt our cultural of understanding that when you sell a product, you want to get it over without any hassles and drama from your buyer. That is why our site is straight forward, we offer instant quotes, and provide you with a fill form after you receive your quote. Once you fill it in, you're done, no more work is required, and you can just sit back, let us verify your account.
Request New Bid, Better Price, or Higher Quote
All offers are non-negotiable and only available through a web page submission. If you feel the offer was less than you think it should be, you may resubmit your account with more detailed information and that may alter the price you are offered. Filling out each blank with the appropriate information will increase the price, please do not neglect to do this if you are looking for a higher offer, but make sure the information is accurate because if we check it and it is incorrect you stand a good chance of getting your offer denied.
Advanced System Automation Quote Database
With over three years put into our automated quote system, we can safely say this is the most automated quote system for accounts in our industry. Every word, and every field you fill out will change the price offer on your account submission. So if you do not agree with the price we gave, simply resubmit or try again at a later time as we change our prices every day based on supply and demand.
Payment To You
Payments usually occur within 1 to 72 hours. On some cases, they can extend to as much as a week, but usually on rare cases. If we sent a notice to you to update your information, please allow extended time so an agent can review your account.
In terms of payment methods, we offer multiple different types of payment methods. For good customers with over 2 years history with us, or have several transactions processed with us, we will make an exception an issue payment by MoneyBookers, Western Union, or Corporate Check. If you are a new customer, the only method we send payment from is by PayPal.
Trade Your Account Information
If you wish to trade or exchange your account with us, please go to our "Sell Account" option on our website, and submit a quote to receive a gift certificate quote which you can use to exchange for a new account.
Please select the appropriate game name on the left hand side bar and click the link that says "Sell Your Account". You will be presented with a page that asks you for general information about your account. This is an important step, filling in as much information as you can with accurate information will result in a better price and leaving things blank to move forward faster. Please be patient during this process as some payments can take more then a few hours, but if you submitted your information, then we got it, and we will check your information as fast as we can.
If this answer is not what you were looking for, please reply back with the specific questions you'd like to ask so our american agents can better assist you with your order. Please be as detailed as possible, and include everything you need answered so we can properly assist you.
Thank you again for choosing us as we greatly appreciate your business and continued support.

Okay so pretty much the only thing in that that I want to draw your attention to is that under the "Payment to You" section it adds that in "rare cases" payment can take up to a week. I continued waiting and I'm currently 17 hours from the one week deadline, assuming that I was just a rare case. However it also mentions them contacting me, which DIDN'T happen, so I'm not sure how this will pan out. My friends and family are telling me to call Blizzard and report my account has been stolen, but I'm holding out to see what happens.

I saw this post so I decided to take that persons advice and sell to THSALE.COM. After 72 hours, and the information changed, THSALE turned the account back over to me saying they weren't interested in buying it AFTER they changed my information. Well guess what the account was supposedly banned for farming gold.

So now if I had not listened to mcclin here I could have at least been paid for my account as two my friends at the same time sold their accounts and got paid by GamePal.

My only guess here is mcclin is from thsale because the company can't even speak english in live chat. Never listen to a guy who can't spell automaded I guess.

Lesson learned, and my advice is do not ever deal with thsale.

My orders have gone pretty well with GamePal.

I have tried at least all their services at least once, and have to say that as long as you communicate they will do the job right.

Gold - no problems ever, deliver under 24 hours I believe almost every time. I recommend here.

Accounts - I have bought 2 accounts from them, one in FFXI (couple years ago), and WoW (around 6 months ago). I haven't had any problems with it, and in fact they gave me an account that was suppose to have one level 70 on it, and it had two.

Power Leveling - I dislike leveling all together, but this company uses American levelers so I cannot complaint. I haven't leveled since Blizzard warned us, but 2 years ago I did a job 53 to 60 and it went fine.

I am not going to talk down on GamePal but speak highly as they have done a good job overall with my orders the past few years. Their are other companies out there, but very few are American, and the rest are shaddy, can't speak english, so you have to make your pick.

I sold an account to them for quite a good deal of money. They said it would take 72 hours maximum to verify. It has been over 90 hours and I still have not recieved payment. I sent an e-mail to them regarding this a few minutes ago. I really hope that I get my money.

I just did a WOW power leveling package from these guys, only made it 10 levels before I got a temp ban. They gave me back a partial refund, but I got a final warning over it.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend for WOW power leveling.

I have ordered with them and they took my money. Currently I am in Paypal dispute with them. They will not answer my emails but they sure did take my money. You have to love their "Customer Service" This was our chat session

"Live Chat Team] It's company procedure and policy, I can't just chagne it as I see fit.
[Visitor] I am going to file a complaint with paypal then. I have sent at least 6 emails to accounts and have not had one email replied to. This seems like a scam to me
[Live Chat Team] Sir. LEt me explain in this as best stupid laymens terms possible to you. You sent it in this morning. It just cleared. That has to clear from the Accounts system in order to release information, like any other business. So if you want to go file things because you're impatient on a Department head authorization has to take place, by all means. But I'm just following -my- duty and my job. And by the by, it's not a bloody scam. I wouldn't work for a cutthroat company. You have to have a modicum of patience to let things process."

I do love his spelling also.....

My experience with gamepal.com is a positive one.

I ordered gold 3 times in the past week with them which also included an account earlier. The trick is that the support team on currency can guide you through the process but for accounts if you need assistance just see if they can expedite it to one of the operations managers. All issues were taken care of promptly and I do recommend this company myself.

First of all let me say up until this last purchase I was a loyal customer to gamepal but not so much anymore. On Febuary 25th I placed an order with them for 120 eq2 platinum and four days later I still have no GOLD. I sent them four emails asking about my order and they said they are stocking servers blah blah blah. Their website says deliveries would be made from 5 - 45 mins after order. Here I am four days later and livid. Posted below is an email exchange I had with them and I will update this and let you know if they do end up delivering.

Dear Gamepal
I made an order for 120 plat on the 25th and still do not
have my order. I am allowing 24 hours before i contact paypal and or my
credit card company as this long of a wait is NOT acceptable. I've been
patient but this has gone to far. Your website site should not say
delivery within 45 minutes when you cant even do it within 3 days. Please
save me the trouble and refund me now b/c 24 hours from now i will be
talking to paypal and my bank if no currency is received. Sadly i will
have to tell my guildies about this experience.

I figured a bird in the hand was worth two in the bush. They did violoate their TOS, but the character was leveled to 50.

It is a damn shame though. If the character is perma banned and not suspended, I will initiate a chargeback

Thank you very much for keeping this report updated.

I have to admit though that I am surprised that you are not going for a full refund. Obviously there were some things going on at Gamepal's end that violated the ToS and thus made it a waste of your money.

In a case like this, I would recommend asking for a full refund and failing to receive one, initiate a chargeback.

- SUSPENDED -

Bottom line up front, they failed the test.

Summary:
The account was suspended for ecomonic exploitation. I received a partial refund and Gampal stated I should have notified them again about the leveler exceeding 12 hour shifts. Oddly, I did this 3 additional times via email and in Livechat as well.

On the plus side, they did issue a refund promptly of the non-leveled portions.

272 of the 404 was refunded.

The accounts team was prompt in responding. The powerleveling team was not until it came time to send a refund. The livechat while nice, was useless.

It is too bad the leveler did not adhere to the basics rules of the company.

It is a good thing, I kept copies of all the emails and was able to document things.

- Party is over -
2:20pm email of a 72 hour suspension

emails to gamepal and an attempt to get to their live chat...

"The account has been suspended for "for exploitation of the World of Warcraft economy or for being associated to accounts which have been closed for intended exploitation"

I have emailed Gamepal.com about excessive play sessions that exceed your company's policy, sometimes these sessions were up to 23 hours.

It looks like I have received the level 1-50 service versus the 1-70 with a mount service and the powerleveler used the account for economy exploitation et cetera. I would like a reply asap please."

email sent to mark at gamepal.com accounts

"Mark,

I know you are not in the powerleveling section, however, you are the only person that answers my emails. I have mailed the powerleveling accounts sections two times since my correspondence with you about excess hours on the account (a few 23 hour play sessions with the account).

The account has now been suspended for "exploitation of the World of Warcraft economy or for being associated to accounts which have been closed for intended exploitation." per Halicus.

I contacted your company several times about this and it appears to no avail.

I would like to know what is going to happen now.

Thank you."

9:19pm
[Live Chat Team] Hi there, This is Lilly how may I help you?
[Visitor] Hello, my account has been suspended Lilly because of economic exploitation. I want to discuss a refund with someone please of the incomplete portion.
[Visitor] I also emailed the powerleveling accoutn folks and spoke to them about 28 hour play sessions that has gone without reply.
[Live Chat Team] Alright mate, you'll have to contact the powerleveling department on that. There isn't much that I can do from this end when it comes to refunds.
[Visitor] Understood. Thank you kindly.
[Live Chat Team] Y'welcome, sorry about the problem. =(
[Visitor] It is ok. I watched this process like a hawk and the pler violated the company terms explained in the contract. I will pay for what they did, but expect the refund. Best wishes to you.

Dear Powerleveling@gamepal.com and Mark at Accounts@gamepal.com

It is a little late to poke the leveler now, the account has been suspended. It is regretful that there was no response to this email for 9 days.

I would like a refund for the incomplete portion. I will pay for what has been done. I have sent a few emails about marathon leveling sessions of 23-28 hours, and now the account has been suspended "for exploitation of the World of Warcraft economy or for being associated to accounts which have been closed for intended exploitation". I did not debate the issue with the GM and have no intention of debating the issue with Gamepal.

The leveler, an employee of your company violated the sessions online by 12 to 14 hours. The account was allegedly used for exploitation of the economy and botting. I contacted your company several times about this issue to no avail apparently. This is water under the bridge at this point. Let's make this work from here

I will pay for the leveling done - 1 to 50. Your website shows that this would cost me $114.99.

I have paid $404.99

Feb. 9, 2008 Payment To Gamepal Powerleveling Completed Details -$404.99 USD

I would like a refund to my credit card for the remainder of the balance which is $290.00 USD.

Gamepal needs to expedite this in the interests of good customer service.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Thank you Mark for assisting in this matter. Your attentiveness for a situation outside your department is commendable.

Hello,

We do not mind you taking time off to watch the leveler. If you find that they are doing anything wrong, we would like to know your concern. We do not use bots and the levelers are only to level 12 hours a day. Again, if you do see them doing anything that concerns you, please let us know so we can address this with them. We do ask that you not interact with the leveler and let them do what you've paid us to do. Any issues you have, please email powerleveling@gamepal.com .

Regards,
Mark

[Live Chat Team] Hi there, This is Lilly how may I help you?
[Visitor] Hello, I spoke to Lilly a bit ago about my accoutn being suspended. I was told there was not much that could be done.. oh, hi Lilly!
[Visitor] is there someone besides Powerleveling@Gamepal.com that I can email?
[Visitor] or am i basically out of luck?
[Visitor] I will pay for what has been done but want the refund for what has not been done.
[Live Chat Team] Heh, hi mate. =) That's pretty much the only avenue of email to contact, if it was something concerning leveling it goes directly to them.
[Live Chat Team] If it was something concerning an account that's directed to accounts team.
[Visitor] They responded 8 days too late. Any other options? The guy from Accounts@gamepal.com at least responded...
[Live Chat Team] You could network to accounts another email on it, otherwise I'm not sure any other direction to point ya in mate.
[Visitor] fair enough. thank you again Lilly. Does this happen all to often? I am not angry at you, but livehelp seems to be a 3rd party corporation and not a part of Gamepal, is this true? (just an educated guess)
[Live Chat Team] It doesn't really happen often, sure there's human error some days but those are few and far between. And yes lol, we are a third-party that handles the site and its affiliates chat serivices for FAQs and a few other things that we do have access to.
[Visitor] Fair enough. Thanks Lilly. A good evening to you.
[Live Chat Team] You too. =)

Hello,

We will be issuing a partial refund for the leveling incompleted. The leveler was told to not level the account for more than 12 hours a day. If you noticed the leveler was still on for more than 12 hours a day, you should have notified us again to let us know so we could find out why they were not abiding to our rules on leveling. I don't see where we were notified again before the account was suspended. When Blizzard does catch the levelers, "exploitation or third party programs" is their way to say "We think you were getting a powerleveling done but can't prove it". At any rate, we will be issuing your partial refund soon and are sorry to see that your leveling did not get completed. We will be talking to the leveler about this again since, from what you're saying, he did not listen to our instructions on how many hours he was on the account.

-Kristi

They were notified by email 3 additional times and in Livechat as well.

*** these are rough notes, forgive the inconsistent format that may come up! =)

It has appeared that a 12 hour schedule is adhered too. I have noticed that when the character that the PLer knows (i have sent about 15 gold total to help with gear and sent about 2-3 tells) the PLer logs. That may only be my perception though. There is definitely someone paying attention and at the keyboard since they have responded to the tells.

Praying that this goes well, I have treated this process like any other investment. I follow up and when I see something I do not like ot have a question about, I communicate with the business, in this case, Gamepal. Of course, I don't know if a 3rd party program has been used or not. Gamepal states they do not. At least they have the opportunity to set the record straight from past behaivors and I am willing to advertise that fact for them based on the performance with this character.

Hello,

I have told the leveler about this and that they are not supposed to be on for more than 12 hours a day. We do leave it up to them as to whether they do it all at one time, or if they spead it out throughout the day. Such as, if they play 3 - 4 hours, then log, then play another 4 hours then log, but regardless, if you find they have been on for more than 12 hours, thanks for telling us. He said he will tell his guy that he is not to be on for more than 12 hours.

Dear Mark,

Thanks again for your email. It does not look like the character logs off. Is it more than one person playing or is it one person with tons of jolt cola? I dont mind if they go over 12 hours (your call really) but 24-28 hours may be a problem. I have kept the two blog sites I provided earlier up to date with the positive information so far.

Thank you for your continued contact and support.

Okies, here are the rough notes, minus a few emails I sent. On of the emails concerned that the char was on a very very long time - 28 hours. The other, i notified them I was posting info. I have come to some conclusions already and will share them at the end of this saga (with the hopes all works out well).

Good idea Carebear. I want to be fair to them. If you like, ill post the whole log when they have finished (one way or another).

Send them a link to this thread - this way they are aware that the outcome of this is public and are more likely to take greater care with your account.

Okies, I did not find this site until today. I have read some good things about them and today, I have read some bad things avout them.

I ordered a 1-70 with flying mount from Gamepal.com. The account is brand new, and only one character - a level 1, is on the account. I have not logged on the account for 30ish hours since creation.

I pray I dont get banned after reading this and will keep you all informed.

I will also monitor them closely to see that they don't bot 24/7.

They have a fair chance to get it right this time.

They are now Game War - Ed Schull pointed that out. They aren't trying to hide it since they post at buysellmmo as gamewar and advertise gamepal. I didn't know the real story on this company until I came here. Excellent research!

With the competition online for these kind of sales, a company has to be top-notch especially in its customer service.

A recent order with Gamepal has proved to be frustrating to no end.

Like many online currency companies they CLAIM to have 24 hour service 7 days a week. Except for the days that they do not. They claim they will get your delivery to you within seconds or hours at least UNDER 24 hours. This claim is right in their FAQ, right on their website.

I had to contact them after I placed my order for them to verify me. I do not know when or if they would have contacted me at all to do this. They had my money and once they did, not a single word from them.

After 24 hours I contacted them again both in their live chat and by email. Still no resolution. Now the claim was changed to 1-3 days delivery time. I wondered if I kept contacting them as days went on if the delivery time claims would get longer and longer. 5 days. 3 weeks. 2 months.

Customer service is everything. Especially when a company makes bold claims regarding their customer service and then I deal with them first-hand and get the runaround.

Now after contacting them a total of FIVE times, they claim that the delivery system failed causing a huge back-log and it should be fixed and I should have delivery in a few hours. At this point, I do not believe them.

It may be ultimately that they do not have what I purchased and they are doing a song and dance until they do or something like that. I thought I might be better off dealing with people in the US, even though their prices are higher.

I have dealt with Chinese companies before and had no luck at all. I have lost money, had to do charge-backs etc. I hate to think that is how this will end too. I really WANT to support US and Canadian companies.

However there is no point in having customer service that cannot actually HELP anyone. The five times I have communicated via the LIVE HELP, they have been unable to tell me anything or help me in ANY WAY. That has been when the chat feature was available.

If customer service doesn't have access to information that can help; why bother? They cannot look anything up. They cannot help with delivery. They cannot tell you when things will be delivered. They cannot actually HELP you to resolve ANYTHING. It is just a ploy, so they can say oh look we have 24 hour 7 days a week customer service. But it is a colossal joke.

I am interested to see how everything pans out. I will update.
