About MxO Information
The Matrix Online (MxO) is an MMORPG based on the popular movie, The Matrix. It was developed by Monolith Productions,
with the help of the Wachowski Brothers, the original creators of The Matrix trilogy. The Matrix Online is set in the future of The Matrix trilogy, the story picks up where the movies left off. After the sacrifice of Neo, the player gets to choose between the Machines, the Merovingian and the people of Zion in a war of struggle for ultimate control. The game features a cinematic storyline and unique combat systems only exist in the Matrix world such as "bullet time", "wire fu" and "systemic anomalies". Although, number of concurrent players are decreasing a lot of gamers still enjoy a "jack in" into the game.
The Matrix Online Information is the in-game currency. The MxO Information is a limited resource and is time intensive to gather the information. It works just like money in the real world. Information has to be earned by completing missions, selling items and looting the enemies. Then players can spend their hard earned information to buy special abilities, codes and cool clothes. Either, the trade is between players and NPC vendors or with other players through the marketplace. A phonebooth is all you need.
