About Heroes of the Storm Gold

Heroes of the Storm is a new MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) to be released by Blizzard Entertainment on June 2015. The game is set in Nexus and will feature popular characters from Blizzard's franchises such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo and more. The game will feature 36 heroes which are further divided into 4 roles. Some heroes will be available to play for free, while the others will require players to purchase them. Players can test out a hero before they can play them. A team of 5 will battle another team in the game's so-called battlegrounds where there will be map objectives to complete. In order to make sure that players will be matched against players of equal level, a Matchmaking Rating system will be applied in the background. Blizzard refers to the game as a “Hero Brawler”, rather than as a MOBA, as they feel that the game has a broader playstyle making it different from the other games in the same genre. Players can purchase heroes or other visual modifications to the heroes thru the support of micropayments. The game's business model is both free to play and freemium gaming. The game is on closed beta since 13 Jan 2015, and will enter open beta on 19 May 2015.
