New Seller Profiles: RMT companies that got acquired by bigger sellers

This week we feature a detailed coverage of three companies which were bought by bigger sellers. Bigger RMT companies buying out small companies are common business practice but usually kept secret. Whether it's attempting to gain a higher market share, monopolize the market or using synergies while advertising the site - it rarely pleases the buyers.

D2Legit was a popular site with Diablo 2 players thus a perfect target for Lewt, considering that it already owned the Diablo2.com fansite.

Mmoshop and Team-VIP were pretty big by themselves and both put up a good fight with the market leader, IGE. Instead of competing with them, IGE opted to acquire them, making it the largest company in the industry.
